ScriptLab — Car Wash

Interactive car wash stations for FiveM. Players drive up, interact via ox_target (or the

/washvehicle command), pay a configurable fee, and their vehicle's dirt/decals are cleaned.

Features

• Multiple configurable car wash locations, each with an optional static ped and map blip

• ox_target sphere-zone interaction, with a command fallback for servers without it

• Auto-detects ESX / QBCore, or runs standalone with a custom payment hook

• Configurable payment method: bank, cash, or either (whichever the player can afford)

• ox_lib progress bar with cancel support and distance validation (no AFK-washing from across the map)

• Realistic result: uses SetVehicleDirtLevel and WashDecalsFromVehicle natively

Dependencies

• ox_lib (required)

• ox_target (optional, recommended)

• ESX or QBCore (optional)

Installation

1. Drag scriptlab-carwash into your resources folder.

2. Add ensure scriptlab-carwash to server.cfg, after ox_lib / ox_target.

3. Edit config.lua:

   - Add/adjust Config.Locations (coords, heading, ped model) for your map.

   - Set Config.Price and Config.PaymentMethod.

4. If running standalone, hook scriptlab-carwash:standalone:tryTakeMoney in your economy

   resource — it receives (source, amount, cb) and must call cb(true) or cb(false).

5. Restart the resource.

Usage

• Drive your vehicle up to a car wash location (blip shown on map).

• Use the ox_target prompt or run /washvehicle while standing in the wash zone.

• Pay the fee and wait for the progress bar to finish — your vehicle will be cleaned.
